6th September, 2011. Dr. A.G.Pandurangan, Head, Taxonomy and Conservation division TBGRI, Trivandrum spoke on "Medicinal Plant Trade:Regulation and Scope".
The second talk on the same day was on "Micro algae: Potential for effluents treatment and energy production" by Dr. M.Muthukumaran, Assistant Professor, Post-graduate and research department of Plant Biology and Plant Biotechnology, RKM Vivekandand College, Chennai.

19th September, 2011 Dr. Nather Khan, Ecotone Environmental Management ADN, BHD., Mayaysia made a detailed deliberation on 'Environmental Impact Assessment for the Proposed Perhentian Tinggi Sanitary Landfill, Pedas, Remban Negeri Sembilan'.
